Tandemkross announced the latest in its endeavor to outfit Ruger MKIV 22/45 pistols with accessories, the hiveGrip wraparound rubber grips, is now shipping.
Designed specifically for the Ruger MKIV 22/45 platform, the hiveGrip was first debuted at SHOT Show in Las Vegas in January but is now officially making its way into the hands of consumers. Featuring a flexible yet durable construction, the aggressively textured grip surface is crafted to allow for better control while shooting.
Tandemkross says the hiveGrip is made from a patented impact and vibration dampening material which lends itself to faster follow-up shots. Boasting defined, ergonomic finger grooves for best hand placement, the low-profile style seeks to work alongside various hand sizes.
Smith and Wesson Tandemkross fans will immediately recognize the design as Tandemkross initially launching the hiveGrip for the SW22 Victory.
“We’re proud to be able to release the ‘hiveGrip’ for the Ruger MKIV 22/45,” Tandemkross Product Development Director Jake Wyman said in a news release. “Modeled after our popular ‘hiveGrip’ for SW22 Victory, this new grip brings the same performance to the Ruger MKIV 22/45 platform.”
The wraparound grip is easy to install and easy to clean, according to the company. MSRP is set at $39.
