Winchester pays homage to World War II soldiers through its new commemorative Victory Series ammunition.

Offering 45 ACP, .30-06 Springfield, .30 Carbine and 12-gauge Brass Hull Buckshot, the ammunition will come packaged in special edition WWII collector’s cartons and wood boxes for a nostalgic feel. The Victory Series will also feature special head stamps and load specs, according to Winchester.

Winchester said the ammo series is a nod to both the company and the servicemen who served their country during the Second World War.

“Winchester played a vital role providing the ammunition and firearms used by our military in the defense of our country in WWII and we are proud to honor those brave U.S. warfighters who so gallantly fought for our freedom,” Matt Campbell, vice president of marketing and sales for Winchester Ammunition, said in a news release.

Each box will ship in a different month in 2018 and 2019 with .45 kicking it off in June, followed by 30-06 in November and .30 Carbine and the 12-gauge coming in hot in June 2019 and November 2019. Each box will be priced between $25 and $30.
