Remington announced its Model 1911 R1 Tactical is now available at retail, meshing adaptability with the functionality of the 1911 platform.
The Model 1911 R1 Tactical pistol boasts an adjustable match-grade, skeletonized trigger with 5-inch, match-grade stainless steel barrel. Topped with a PVD coating for durability and performance, the pistol offers an ambidextrous extended thumb safety for efficient use with either hand. Utilizing VZ Operator G10 grips, the gun adds front and rear cocking serrations to its design as well as a railed frame for mounting accessories.
The Model 1911 R1 Tactical rounds out its features with Trijicon front and rear sights for low light shooting scenarios.
“Built for precision and hard use, the Model 1911 R1 Tactical is the pinnacle of adaptability and is now available at retail,” Remington said in a press release.
Chambered in ,45 ACP and with a capacity of 8+1 with the single stack model and 15+1 with the double stack and double stack threaded variants, the 1911 R1 tactical starts at $1,250.
