Thoughts and Impressions :
– Unlike the smaller version of the Tetra, I haven’t used this one yet. This tent is going into testing now and more is to come. With that being said, here are my thoughts so far.
– Price is excellent
– There is plenty of space – two cots for sure. A place for one person.
– Very small form factor – doesn’t take up much space in pack
– Fairly light weight
– Overall excellent quality of the shelter
– I like the colors of the tent

Lots of vents – I was very impressed with condensation control even with the tent sealed up and it was pouring freezing rain outside.

Setting up the tent is SUPER EASY and is straight forward which isn’t always the case when it comes to a tipi tent. This is a square, not an octagon shape – you’ll get a good pitch easily and won’t have to make many adjustments once you have it staked and the pole centered
I love the fact that a pole is included

Tent stakes featured corded pulls that absolutely suck and in fact, when testing out the smaller version recently, I was breaking down the tent and one of the corded pulls ripped out when removing the stake from the ground and I ended up slicing my finger on the cord hook. These will have to be replaced if you purchase this tent; you can use the stakes but the pulls feature a type of cordage that doesn’t hold knots very well.

The smaller version of this tent has been waterproof so far….I suspect this version will be too.

Porch is nice but not the most useful in rain due to the shape. If you are to use this tent in the rain, I would recommend partially covering the front door with a tarp so you have a place to sit, cook and get out of the weather.

Tent inner is included which is going to be nice for those who don’t want to have issues with spiders and bugs.
